i LEARN u LEARN meetings

In March 2010, we held six meetings with patients, the public and patient representative organisations in Belfast, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Liverpool and London. These meetings were attended by 170 people.

The structure of the meetings was interactive, with various discussion sessions and panels (the latter were chaired by representatives of patients and the public). We sought feedback on some of our projects that are in the early stages of development, on other completed projects and on ways in which we can better present information in our publications and the website for the benefit of patients and the public.

We received useful feedback from all who attended the meetings, for which we are very grateful. We are now carefully considering this feedback when we plan our work programmes for 2010 - 2011.
