CHRE to carry out a strategic review of the Nursing and Midwifery Council

The Department of Health has written to CHRE and asked it to conduct a strategic review of the Nursing and Midwifery Council and its performance. The terms of reference for our review and the Ministerial statement are available below.

The Nursing and Midwifery Council has welcomed our review.

The review will take four months and we will publish our report on our website.

CHRE will be making no further comment on the review while it takes place.
